Technical Lead

Role Overview: As a seasoned Technical Lead at Milestone Technologies, you will be responsible for leading large, cross-functional engineering teams and driving enterprise-grade applications. Your focus will be on shaping and scaling the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Shopify-integrated applications to ensure high availability, performance, and clean engineering governance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a multi-skilled engineering team (backend, frontend, and DevOps) across multiple parallel projects. - Design, develop, and optimize full-stack solutions for WMS and Shopify-based systems. - Conduct rigorous code reviews, enforce clean architecture, modular design, and adherence to secure coding practices. - Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments. - Collaborate with DevOps to implement containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code best practices. - Manage and extend Shopify APIs, webhooks, and third-party logistics integrations. - Mentor, guide, and scale a large team of engineers, setting expectations, conducting performance reviews, and building succession depth. - Work with product and delivery leaders to translate business needs into scalable technical roadmaps. - Drive continuous improvement across performance, maintainability, and automation maturity. Qualification Required: - Expert-level PHP 8+ / Laravel experience. - Strong proficiency with React.js and component-based front-end architecture. - Practical working knowledge of Python and Java for integrations or microservices. - Deep understanding of RESTful API design, Shopify integration models, and data flows in WMS environments. - Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent). - Strong database design and optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL). - Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
