Technical Lead

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Technical Lead on the Dashboard team at Cisco Meraki, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Backend/SRE/Dashboard engineers to architect, design, and build a large-scale system delivering powerful, scalable, and groundbreaking cloud-managed service to customers. Your role involves solving complicated architecture problems, coordinating knowledge between teams, implementing sophisticated Dashboard systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, and taking complete ownership from conception to production release. Key Responsibilities: - Solve complicated architecture problems to build scalable and extendable systems. - Coordinate and align knowledge and opinions between Product, SRE, and Dashboard developers. - Implement sophisticated Dashboard systems and infrastructure to handle unique Meraki Dashboard problems. - Identify and solve performance bottlenecks in the architecture. - Take complete ownership from conception to production release by maximizing influence and collaboration. - Lead, mentor, and spread standard methodologies to other specialists on the team. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of proven experience writing professional production code and tests for large-scale systems. - 7+ years of experience in Backend and full-stack technologies (Ruby on Rails/Python/). - Ability to implement efficient database design and query performance in a relational database (Postgres, SQL). - Demonstrate a sense of ownership throughout the entire development process, effectively influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Strategic and product-oriented approach with a desire to understand users. - Outstanding communication skills.
