Technical Lead (Java + Automation)

As a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead with 7-10 years of experience in Java and AI Automation, you will be responsible for leading, innovating, and building intelligent, automated systems from scratch. Your key responsibilities will include: - Architecting, designing, and developing microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and cloud-native frameworks. - Building intelligent workflows using automation tools like n8n, Zapier, or custom solutions to connect AI, databases, and business tools. - Integrating AI/LLM capabilities into applications, ranging from chatbots and summarization to RAG-based knowledge systems and document intelligence. - Leading end-to-end product delivery, from ideation and architecture to deployment and optimization. - Designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems that integrate AI and automation pipelines. - Collaborating closely with product, data, and design teams to define AI-driven features. - Mentoring and guiding developers to foster clean code, test automation, and best engineering practices. - Managing CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, testing (unit/integration/load), and cloud deployments. - Continuously exploring new AI, automation, and workflow orchestration technologies to enhance delivery speed and intelligence. Qualifications required for this role include: - 7-10 years of backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API architecture. - Proven leadership experience in mentoring engineers and owning technical decisions. - Hands-on experience with AI/LLM frameworks such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Hugging Face. - Practical experience implementing RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and working with vector databases. - Experience with automation tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, or Airflow for workflow orchestration. - Strong database knowledge including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and Kafka. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a product-first mindset. - Proficiency in Python scripting for AI integration, data transformation, or MLOps tasks. - Knowledge of AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar. It would be nice to have experience in: - Integrating Slack, Gmail, Notion, or CRM systems through automation tools or APIs. - Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, and advanced logging/monitoring. - Exposure to frontend frameworks for end-to-end visibility. - Working with low-code / no-code platforms to accelerate AI-driven development.
