Technical Lead

You are a seasoned Senior MERN Stack Tech Lead who will be responsible for overseeing, leading, and expanding full-stack product development initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and DevOps to construct contemporary, high-performing, and scalable web applications. Your primary responsibilities will include steering the design and execution of enterprise-level applications utilizing the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, NestJs, NextJs). You will also be tasked with developing RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on scalability and performance. Furthermore, you will be expected to provide guidance and mentorship to a team of frontend and backend developers throughout the product lifecycle. Ensuring top-notch code quality through practices like code reviews, testing, and modular architecture will be essential. Additionally, you will need to establish CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar solutions. Managing cloud deployments (GCP/AWS/Azure) incorporating containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless technologies will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with DevOps teams to uphold secure, efficient, and observable production environments is crucial. Working closely with UI/UX designers to guarantee smooth and accessible user experiences is also expected. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 6-8 years of software development experience and expertise in the MERN stack. Proven leadership experience in engineering teams, deep knowledge of React.js and Node.js/Express.js, hands-on familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other NoSQL/RDBMS, as well as a strong understanding of CI/CD tools and practices are required. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, API Gateways, monitoring tools, REST architecture, authentication methods (OAuth, JWT), and microservices are essential. Exceptional communication, problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities are crucial for this role. Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, event-driven architecture, AI/ML integration in web applications, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm), Agile or Scrum methodologies are preferred.
