Technical Lead

Role Overview: As an IoT Device and CCTV Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of IoT devices such as audio announcement systems, FM transmitters, GPS trackers, and CCTV systems inside public buses. This role will require you to perform on-field operations, possess basic networking knowledge, and demonstrate hardware handling skills. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure IoT devices including audio systems, FM units, GPS trackers, and sensors in buses. - Set up CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and ensure the complete bus surveillance setup. - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the installed devices. - Diagnose technical issues and repair faulty IoT devices or CCTV systems. - Ensure proper wiring, device positioning, and network connectivity as required. - Collaborate with operations and project managers to plan installation schedules and provide regular reports. - Maintain detailed records of installation, maintenance activities, and service reports. - Train junior staff members and contribute to the development of installation guidelines. - Follow safety protocols and uphold quality standards throughout the installation and service processes. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in installing and maintaining IoT devices and CCTV systems is preferred. - Basic understanding of networking principles and hardware handling skills. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and managers. - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting. - Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining quality standards.
