Role Overview

Technical Lead

This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for providing technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable data solutions including ETL pipelines, data models, and reporting frameworks.


• Provide daily technical direction to Data Engineers and Data Analysts, ensuring alignment with project goals.


• Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to translate business requirements into robust, actionable technical solutions.


• Oversee development and maintenance of data pipelines using

  SQL

  and

  Azure Data Flows / Data Factory

  .


• Support reporting and analytics initiatives using

  Power BI

  or other BI tools.


• Review deliverables, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.


• Troubleshoot complex data, integration, or performance issues and implement effective solutions.


• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and deliver results efficiently.


• Contribute to the technical roadmap, define development standards, and drive process improvements across the analytics function.


• Manage bandwidth effectively across multiple projects (approx.

  60-70%

  on core analytics projects and

  30-40%

  on other initiatives).

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in

  Data Engineering

  ,

  Data Analytics

  , or related technical fields.


• Strong expertise in

  SQL

  ,

  Python

  , and

  Azure Data Flows / Data Factory

  .


• Working knowledge of

  Power BI

  or similar BI tools.


• Proven experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.


• Experience handling end-to-end project delivery from requirement gathering to deployment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot data and integration issues.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in client-facing interactions.


• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud platforms (

• Prior experience in consulting, managed services, or client-facing analytics environments.

Compensation

• Salary:

  Up to

  15 LPA (Fixed CTC)

  depending on experience and skill alignment.
