Technical Facility Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Operations & Maintenance

• Perform regular inspection and maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and mechanical systems.
  
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules (PPM) are followed and documented.
  
• Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with internal teams or vendors.
  
• Monitor building automation systems (BAS/BMS).
  

2. Energy & Equipment Monitoring

• Track energy consumption and report abnormalities.
  
• Maintain operational efficiency of critical equipment like DG sets, UPS, chillers, AHUs, pumps, and elevators.
  
• Ensure proper calibration and functioning of sensors and controls.
  

3. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and technical regulations.
  
• Support safety audits, fire drills, and equipment certifications.
  
• Maintain records of technical compliance, licenses, and service reports.
  

4. Vendor & Contractor Coordination

• Supervise technical contractors (HVAC, electrical, fire services, etc.).
  
• Verify vendor work quality, service reports, and adherence to SLAs.
  
• Ensure timely execution of AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) tasks.
  

5. Breakdown & Incident Management

• Attend and resolve urgent facility-related technical issues.
  
• Provide root cause analysis (RCA) after incidents.
  
• Suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain technical logs, checklists, and daily operation records.
  
• Prepare reports on maintenance activities, energy usage, and equipment performance.
  
• Update asset inventory and maintenance history in CMMS/CAFM tools.
  

7. Support to Facility Manager

• Assist in planning technical upgrades or refurbishment projects.
  
• Provide inputs for budgeting related to technical assets and maintenance.
  
• Coordinate technical aspects of office expansions, fit-outs, and relocations.
