Job Description

Technical Documentation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain technical manuals, service manuals, operating instructions, and spare parts catalogues.
Develop assembly & installation guides for machines and sub-assemblies.
Create SOPs, work instructions, and test procedures.
Collaborate with design and production teams to collect technical inputs and prepare engineering documents.
Maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), drawing lists, and revision histories.
Ensure all documentation reflects the latest design changes.
Support service teams with troubleshooting guides and bulletins.
Prepare customer/operator training material and presentations.
Ensure proper documentation handover across departments and during project delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field.
23 years of experience in technical documentation (preferably in machine manufacturing / SPM industry).
Good understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, and revision control.
Strong MS Office skills; exposure to CAD tools will be an advantage.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
