Technical Documentation Engineer

Job Title: Technical Documentation Engineer
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work with architects, design, applications, product marketing to scope, design, and develop reference manuals
Updating existing documentation with new product features
Editing and publishing hardware documents like data sheet, chip errata, application note, product brief, and engineering bulletin
Reviewing work generated by other teams for compliance to guidelines and providing edits as requested
Contribute to continuous improvement of doc standards, tools, and processes
Collaboration skills with design teams spread across different geographies
Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Recommended Skills: Basic understanding of microprocessor architecture
Working knowledge of an XML-based authoring environment this includes working with a content management system and an XML authoring tool
Awareness of basic DITA concepts and structured authoring
Basic understanding of working on Linux platform and a scripting language
Hands-on experience with FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, Inkscape
Good to have some knowledge of Product Data Management tool (like Agile or Enovia), SharePoint, Atlassian products (like Jira, Confluence, GIT), and Yammer.
Experience and qualification: 2 4 years of experience in technical documentation
Candidates should have a Bachelor or Master s degree of Engineering/Technology in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
