Technical Delivery Manager

Job Summary

The Technical Delivery Manager will be a single point of contact for Customer Projects and Service Delivery teams. A successful candidate will work with Sales & Service Delivery Leads to define the project requirements, schedules, and tracking activities to manage Project execution. As a Project Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team of tech leads to come up with Project plan, execution as well as Project estimates.

How youll make your mark

• Coordinate project definition activity with Service Delivery Managers, functional managers, and Project executives.
• Lead all Project phases including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Identify project risks and come up with a mitigation plan.
• Lead project review meetings, and track/report progress.
• Ensure process adherence and conduct periodic audits.
• Leads internal & external customer projects to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing.
• Having client facing calls for escalations and/or scoping.
• Gathering and analyzing customer requirements as well as translating underlying business needs to solution architecture.
• Work closely with all areas of the unit to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardization across Sales Support Operations.

Good to have:

• A minimum of 7-8 years of experience managing projects.
• Ability to work with multi-site cross-functional teams in different time zones.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without specific authority.
• Expertise in modern project management tools like ASANA
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
• Experience on server management - Windows, Linux, multiple Hypervisors.
• Sound Knowledge of Private & Hybrid Cloud building blocks and cost components
• Experience on HPC, InfiniBand, Storage, Virtualization
• Certifications like CCNA, MCSE will be an added advantage
