Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Lead Azure (10+ Years Exp)

Skills:

Senior Data Engineer / Data Platform Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Design and manage scalable data platforms using Azure services.
Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
Work on data lake and data warehouse development (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric).
Analyze, optimize, and upgrade existing data models for performance and scalability.
Develop, automate, and maintain data quality and integrity across platforms.
Collaborate with BI teams to support dashboard/reporting delivery.

Required Skills:

10+ years in data engineering / platform management
5+ years of experience in Azure ecosystem

Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake
Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks
Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric

Strong experience in data modeling, performance tuning, and platform architecture
Proficient in SQL, Spark, and Python (preferred)
Good understanding of governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
