Job Description

As a Technical Consulting Engineer at Cisco, you will be an integral part of the CX High Touch Expert Care team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing network-centric solutions to address challenging business issues. Your role will involve collaborating closely with regional teams to deliver critical services to high-value customers, resolving issues with Cisco products, and gaining in-depth understanding of Cisco products and service elements. Your proficiency in resolving customer issues and eagerness to learn new technologies will be crucial for success in this role. Your responsibilities will include independently debugging complex product problems reported by customers, acting as a technical point of contact for the team, providing technical support for Cisco technologies, products, and solutions, resolving technical problems, simulating technical issues in a lab environment, sharing knowledge through technical documentation, conducting technical presentations, and collaborating with Business Units for product enhancements. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate a strong competence and willingness to learn new technologies, as well as be prepared to work in a 24/7 rotation shift, including night shifts. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field and have 8-10 years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting. Possessing technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (Routing & Switching / Service Provider) would be beneficial. Your expertise should extend to maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco IP and Optical Routers, networking protocols, and switching technologies. Creative problem-solving skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and effective communication with customers will be essential for this position.
