Technical Associate - EHS

Job Description: EHS-TA. Scrap Handling: Oversee the proper collection, segregation, and storage of scrap materials. (Hazardous & Non-Hazardous) Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of scrap materials, including type, quantity, and disposal methods. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with scrap dealers, recyclers, and waste management vendors for timely and efficient scrap disposal. Compliance: Ensure all processes align with local environmental, health, and safety regulations and followed management instructions strictly. 5S at Scrap yard- Ensure all waste materials are keep properly and 5S maintained in shopfloor. Process Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to minimize scrap generation and enhance recycling practices. Cost Control: Monitor scrap-related costs and explore cost-effective disposal or recycling options. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on scrap metrics, including volumes, revenues from recycling, and compliance status. Effluent treatment plant: ETP/STP operations management. Inventory and spare management of critical equipment s of ETP/STP. Subcontractor vendor management. Qualifications for the role Diploma-Chemical/Bsc-Chemistry is must. Additional qualification- ADIS (Advance diploma in industrial safety)/ Diploma in Environment 0- 2+ years of experience with material or scrap management. Experience in scrap management, waste management, or materials handling, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. Familiarity with scrap inventory management and reporting. Knowledge of regulations and compliance related to waste management (local, state, and federal laws).
