Technical Architect – Snowflake, ELT, SQL Server, .NET, Git.

We are looking for an accomplished Technical Architect with 10–14 years of experience to drive the design and delivery of cutting-edge data and application solutions. In this senior role, you will shape architecture strategy, champion best practices, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with stakeholders across the business. 1. Define and own the end-to-end architecture for data warehousing and ELT solutions using Snowflake, SQL Server, and associated cloud services.
2. Design and implement robust ELT pipelines that ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
3. Provide technical leadership across multiple scrum teams, establishing coding standards, design patterns, and DevOps best practices (Git, CI/CD).
4. Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
5. Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
6. Optimize database performance, storage, and cost management across Snowflake and SQL Server environments.
7. Guide and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
8. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools, providing recommendations to improve platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
9. Create high-level and detailed architecture documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer across teams.
10. Drive proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new approaches, frameworks, or technologies.

1. 10–14 years of overall experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in a technical or solution architect role.
2. Hands-on expertise designing and implementing data warehousing solutions on Snowflake, including performance tuning and security best practices.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, indexing strategies, query optimization, SSIS/SSRS) and data modeling (star/snowflake schema).
4. Deep understanding of ELT/ETL concepts, data integration frameworks, and data governance principles.
5. Solid .NET development background (C#, .NET Core/6+) with experience building enterprise-grade APIs and services.
6. Proven track record with Git-based version control workflows, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
7. Demonstrated leadership skills: mentoring teams, conducting code/architecture reviews, and driving technical strategy.
8. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data ecosystem services.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

1. SnowPro Core or advanced Snowflake certification.
2. Experience with modern data orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Prefect).
3. Knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
4. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
5. Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Exposure to data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
