Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

1. Define and own the technical architecture using modern, scalable, and secure design principles.
2. Architect solutions using

   .NET

   technologies and design high-performing backend systems.
3. Design and manage

   SQL Server (on-premise)

   data models, indexing, optimization, and database performance strategies.
4. Architect containerized solutions using

   Kubernetes (on-premise)

   ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.

Technical Leadership

1. Lead, mentor, and guide development teams in solution design, coding standards, and best practices.
2. Review architecture proposals, designs, and code to ensure technical alignment and maintainability.
3. Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and QA to ensure end-to-end technical quality.

Hands-On Development

1. Contribute to key modules and complex components using .NET and modern backend engineering approaches.
2. Drive modernization initiatives, refactoring legacy components into modern microservices-based architecture.

Operations & Performance

1. Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD setups, automated deployments, monitoring, and observability.
2. Troubleshoot production issues to identify root causes and guide sustainable long-term solutions.
3. Ensure the platform meets performance, scalability, and security benchmarks.

Collaboration

1. Work with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business requirements and roadmap priorities.
2. Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose relevant modernization efforts.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 10–15 years

   of software engineering experience, with at least

   4+ years in an architect or technical lead role

   .
3. Strong expertise in

   .NET / .NET Core

   , enterprise backend architecture, and API design.
4. Deep hands-on experience with

   SQL Server (on-premise)

   including performance optimization and database design.
5. Proven experience implementing, deploying, and managing

   Kubernetes (on-premise)

   clusters.
6. Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, containerization, and cloud-native principles (even if on-prem).
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.
8. Excellent communication, leadership, and technical decision-making skills.
