Technical Advisor - Maritime Cranes

As a Service Engineer at Liebherr India Private Limited, your primary responsibilities will include: - Handling of enquiries and providing technical support to customers, engineers, service stations, and the sales department. - Forwarding service information and ensuring safety-relevant service information is installed and followed. - Quoting upgrades, services, and non-standard solutions, and following up on evaluations of orders. - Proactively offering crane upgrades and supporting warranty and goodwill cases. - Coordinating service attendances with prior approval, project controlling, and ensuring correct invoicing. - Planning engineer pool and resources, preparing project-specific documentation, and journal duty on weekends and holidays. - Checking and following up on work reports, signing hour reports, and filing project-specific correspondence. - Supporting commissioning jobs, working with internal software, and executing special projects assigned by the organization. - Achieving customer satisfaction through prompt service. Your competencies will include: - Signing according to regulations, disposition of engineers, generating crane upgrade offers, and calculating work offers. - Demonstrated initiative in project management, ability to interface with all levels of staff, and handle confidential information effectively. The qualifications required for this role are: Education: - Full-time Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile Engineering from a reputed Institute/University. - Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a maintenance/service engineer, preferably on Hydraulic Mobile Cranes or Material Handling equipments. Experience: - At least 5 years of experience as a Service Engineer on a relevant Liebherr Product. - Experience with part lists, preparing quotes, and order administration. Special abilities and skills: - Field experience as a Service Engineer, precise working, proactive approach, and ability to coordinate service attendances. - Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
