Job Description

Tech Ops / DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Purpose:

keep cloud, databases, and deployments fast, secure, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Own AWS: VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, backups
Build/maintain CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins); blue-green, rollbacks
Containerize with Docker; run on ECS/EKS
Support devs across environments, observability, and releases
Database ops: migrations, performance tuning, HA/DR, backups
Monitor/alert (Cloud Watch/ELK/Prometheus); incident response and RCA
Automate with Terraform/Cloud Formation and Bash/Python
Cost optimization and security hardening

Requirements

Strong AWS DevOps experience
SQL fluency; MySQL/Postgres admin basics
Git, Linux, networking fundamentals
Logging/metrics tooling
Security best practices (IAM, secrets, least privilege)
Clear troubleshooting and documentation
