Job Summary

Job Title: Linux L2 Administrator Location: Pune and Bengaluru Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Linux L2 Administrator with extensive experience in Linux OS administration, cloud platforms, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux systems, ensuring optimal performance, and providing support in a 24x7 environment. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies and networking, along with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux operating systems (Red Hat/SUSE), including patching, upgrades, and kernel management. Manage cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, AWS, and IBM Cloud, ensuring efficient resource utilization. Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution while adhering to client processes and standards. Demonstrate knowledge of compute, storage, and networking in hyperscale environments. Implement and manage networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, NAT, DNS, LDAP, Firewalls). Support the operation of Linux OS on physical servers. Collaborate with cross functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability. Participate in 24x7 rotational shifts to provide continuous support. Mandatory Skills: Proven experience in Linux OS administration (Red Hat/SUSE). Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure IaaS, GCP, AWS, IBM Cloud). Excellent troubleshooting skills and adherence to client processes. Understanding of compute, storage, and networking in hyperscale environments. Familiarity with networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, Cloud NAT, DNS, Open LDAP, Firewall). Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment. Good English speaking skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform Networking. Knowledge of additional Linux distributions. Certifications in Linux or cloud technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications and hands on experience in Linux administration and cloud technologies will be an advantage.
