Job Summary

Job Title: Azure Migration Engineer Location: TechM Hyd TMTC, India Years of Experience: 7 10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Azure Migration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the migration of Windows based applications and workloads to the Azure cloud platform. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, Windows server administration, and migration strategies. Responsibilities: Design and implement migration strategies for Windows based systems to Azure. Perform assessments of existing infrastructure to determine cloud migration feasibility. Develop detailed migration plans, including system design, architecture, and security considerations. Execute the migration of applications, data, and infrastructure to the Azure cloud environment. Monitor and track progress during the migration process, ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met during and after migration. Provide post migration support and address any issues that arise. Identify and recommend opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to cloud migration and technology advancements. Maintain documentation relating to the migration process and procedures. Mandatory Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in cloud migration, specifically with Azure. Strong knowledge of Windows Administration and related technologies. Familiarity with cloud computing technologies, data migration techniques, and security standards. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads effectively. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Azure Migration Strategies, Azure Site Recovery, and other migration tools. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Powershell Scripting, Python, or Bash. Certifications in AWS Certificate Manager or related cloud technologies. Extensive experience with Azure services, including Azure App Gateway, Beyond Trust PAM, Azure Database, Container Apps, Open AI, Azure Functions, Azure Speech Services, Blob Storage, Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Azure Private Endpoints. Familiarity with Azure Console, monitoring, Activity Logs, Azure Storage, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Developer Tools.
