Role Overview

• We’re looking for a Tech Lead (Magento + Backend Developer) to take full ownership of Owsho’s technology strategy, architecture, and backend development.
• The ideal candidate will lead Magento integration, backend APIs, database systems, payment gateways, and sprint planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall technology strategy & architecture
• Develop & customize Magento-based e-commerce systems
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend integrations
• Design & optimize databases for performance and scalability
• Integrate payment gateways and third-party APIs
• Manage sprints, assign tasks, and conduct code reviews
• Collaborate with business, design & product teams
• Ensure security, scalability, and stability of the platform

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in Magento 2 + Backend development
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Experience with API integrations & payment systems
• Knowledge of AWS / GCP / Azure (preferred)
• Strong in Agile development, sprint planning & code reviews
• Experience in e-commerce / hyperlocal platforms preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
• Experience with microservices, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiar with Git & version control systems
• Strong leadership & problem-solving mindset
