Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, investigate, and report on developments in technology, startups, AI, cybersecurity, consumer electronics, and emerging tech domains
- Write and produce compelling news stories, features, and analyses for digital and broadcast media platforms
- Conduct interviews with tech leaders, innovators, policymakers, and industry experts to create exclusive, high-value content
- Cover live technology events, product launches, and conferences, providing timely and accurate reporting
- Collaborate with editors, video producers, and social media teams to create multimedia content that resonates with audiences
- Stay ahead of tech trends to identify stories that define the next wave of innovation
- Translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging narratives for a diverse audience
- Maintain strong editorial judgment and adhere to journalistic ethics, accuracy, and balance in reporting
- Contribute to thought-leadership pieces, opinion columns, and long-form features that drive audience engagement
- Build and maintain a wide network of industry contacts, ensuring access to credible sources and insider insights
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology journalism, reporting, or editorial work across media houses, publications, or digital platforms
- Proven expertise in covering major technology sectors — including AI, startups, enterprise tech, and digital transformation
- Strong news judgment, storytelling flair, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy
- Experience working in or with media channels (print, digital, or broadcast) and familiarity with editorial workflows
- Comfortable with multimedia storytelling — video scripts, podcasts, or social media engagement
- Deep curiosity about how technology intersects with business, culture, and society
- Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Strong interviewing, analytical, and fact-checking skills, ensuring accuracy and credibility in reporting
- Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field preferred
