Job Description

Job Title: Team Member - Purchase

Job Location: Lonand

Work Experience Required: 5 years 7 years

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) required

Role Overview

Purchase Team Member

Key Responsibilities

Monitor monthly receipts, consumption, rejections, GRN status, and inventory using ERP/system tools.
Review and manage non-moving stock (standard and non-standard items).
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement, enquiries, quotations, and negotiations to ensure best commercial and technical fit.
Prepare MIS reports, fund requirement projections, and ensure timely payments (including duty/GST).
Oversee purchase orders and requisition status, ensuring smooth material flow.
Manage documentation, compliance, and records for domestic and import items.
Ensure quality standards, ISO compliance, and statutory requirements are met by all vendors.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:
Minimum 5 years in sourcing & procurement
Strong exposure to heavy equipment manufacturing industry preferred

Core Competencies:
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in ERP/MIS reporting
Knowledge of GST, import/export procedures, and statutory compliances
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
Attention to detail and quality compliance orientation
