Team Member - General Ledger

Role Overview: As a Team Member in General Ledger, your main responsibility will be to oversee and monitor day-to-day general ledger accounting activities. You will need to ensure that all accounting procedures are compliant with Ind AS standards. Additionally, you will be involved in the preparation of MIS reports and audit schedules, as well as liaising with both internal and statutory auditors. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate general ledger accounting records and prepare monthly MIS reports and audit schedules. - Ensure that books of accounts adhere to Ind AS standards and are closed in a timely manner each month. - Make accurate provisions in the books and minimize ad hoc provisions by following the provision rules supported by PR/PO. - Monitor financial health through internal controls and reconcile management reports with books monthly, highlighting any major discrepancies to the business. - Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to facilitate the audit closure. - Monitor data synchronization between various financial applications and reporting systems. - Implement automation in the accounting processes to streamline routine transactions effectively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master's in Commerce (M.Com), or MBA in Finance with relevant experience. - Preferably CA or CMA Intermediate qualified. - Basic knowledge of Ind AS standards. - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting. - Proficient in Excel with good working knowledge. - Previous experience working with Oracle ERP is preferred. - Working knowledge of General Ledger Accounting is advantageous. - Prior experience in the Retail Industry would be beneficial.,
