Job Description

Role Overview: As a Team Lead / Manager FPNA at NEC Software Solutions India, you will be the owner of the FP&A process in the NEC India Shared Service Centre (ISSC). Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the Finance month close, team management, and ensuring the first-class delivery of FP&A services within the specified SLA to NEC SWS UK team. You will collaborate closely with all financial, operational & corporate functions within the organization, and lead new entity transitions across Public Safety. Key Responsibilities: - Track and own the periodic financial closing activities in the Public Safety Business to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Review P&L and Balance Sheet key account variances, taking necessary actions post-discussion with Business Partners. - Guide and support the team in keeping Balance Sheet recs within the threshold. - Assist in budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, finalizing numbers in cooperation with the Finance controller. - Collaborate on the 5-year MTP and Annual Budget process with Business partners. - Plan and lead new entity transitions, identifying new scope of work transition in coordination with the direct manager. - Prepare key metrics Dashboard and review with Leadership monthly/quarterly. - Drive improvement and productivity actions within the team with a focus on Quality. - Meet the team regularly, provide constructive feedback for productivity improvement. - Conduct year-end appraisal reviews for the team. - Manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with people of various backgrounds/working styles. Qualifications Required: - Very good accounting knowledge. - Ability to engage at multiple levels of leadership and stakeholders. - Hands-on experience in FP&A process, especially in understanding the periodic financial close process. - Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance Modules, experience in TM1 and peripheral systems desired. - Experience in managing a medium-sized team. - Customer-focused approach with a Continuous Improvement mindset. - Demonstrable can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. - Strong, performance-oriented individual able to function in a dynamic environment. - Natural leadership skills, ability to exert influence, cooperate, and motivate. - Flexible in style and approach to problem-solving. - Excellent time management and prioritization skills. - Collaborative and inclusive team player. - Good analytical and effective communication skills, both oral and written. - Fluent English vocabulary. Additional Information: - Preferred qualified Accountant or MBA Finance from a reputed university. - Finance Professional with a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience. - FP&A Team management experience at captive SSC / BPO sector. - Industry / Technology background: Financial Planning & Analysis. - Working Hours: 8.5 Hours per day with flexibility to work for UK hours.
