Team leader / Office manager (Steel Detailing)

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations

  of the steel detailing offshore office, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.

• Manage and grow the team

  from 10 to at least 20 people, ensuring staff retention, training, staff career planning, and morale.

• Ensure profitability

  by optimizing operations and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Monitor and maintain quality standards

  , ensuring final checks and quality control processes for steel detailing are rigorous.

• Drive operational efficiency

  by streamlining processes and implementing best practices to maximize productivity.

• Team leadership

  : Foster a positive working environment, ensure team members are engaged and motivated, and address any personnel issues promptly.

• Project management

  : Oversee all projects, providing guidance and decision-making support to ensure projects are running smoothly.

• Preventative thinking

  : Anticipate challenges or issues in the workflow and proactively address them to prevent delays or quality problems.

• Report to senior management

  at headquarters on office performance, profitability, and team development.
• Occasionally

  travel

  to HQ for management meetings and strategy discussions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience

  in a similar leadership role within the steel detailing industry, managing teams and overseeing operations.

• Expertise in Tekla software

  is required.
• Strong experience with

• Excellent
