Team Leader- edtech sales

As a Business Development Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to drive sales and business growth in the B2B education sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BDEs. - Provide guidance, support, and regular feedback to enhance team performance. - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. - Target Allocation and Achievement: - Divide sales targets among team members based on skills, experience, and market potential. - Monitor individual and team performance to ensure targets are met or exceeded. - Take corrective actions and provide support to team members as needed. - Coordination and Collaboration: - Coordinate team activities for smooth workflow and collaboration. - Act as the primary point of contact between the team and senior management. - Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and updates to all team members. - Sales and Business Development Support: - Assist team members in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and clients. - Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and strategies. - Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, sales metrics, and market trends. - Analyze data to optimize sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. - Training and Development: - Identify training needs and coordinate with HR or training department. - Conduct on-the-job training and coaching to enhance team skills and knowledge.
