Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Manage, guide, and supervise a team of tele callers to achieve sales targets.
• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and ensure team productivity.
• Monitor call quality, conversion ratios, and adherence to defined processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Credit, Operations, and Collections teams for smooth closures and follow-ups.
• Conduct regular team training, coaching, motivation sessions, and performance reviews.
• Track lead follow-ups, pipeline health, and escalation management.
• Ensure accurate recording of calls, sales outcomes, and MIS reporting in the CRM system.

Handle customer escalations and support the team in objection handling and closures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in tele sales or tele calling.
• Mandatory experience in handling and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to drive performance targets and manage pressure.
• Good customer handling and objection management skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS tracking).
• Basic computer literacy and hands-on experience with CRM tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidates with

  minimum Excel knowledge

  and experience in MIS reporting will be given preference.
