ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Responsibilities1

  • Manage a team of S&M, R&D and PSO Analysts and balance their workload
  • Responsible for overseeing sales performance (back-end) and sales orders
  • Manage standard and advance analytics reports with KPIs and Metrics reporting
  • Manage dashboard activities to provide data to relevant stakeholders
  • Institutionalize Audit Process for POSM and conduct POSM checks
  • Liaison and conduct follow ups with Marketing Procurement & Payout Team
  • Manage contract compliance and invoice creation and correction
  • Manage the supplier & item master/catalogue along with managing T&C and contracts
  • Maintain monthly MIS for Material availability, oversee Purchase variance monthly file and report to the senior delivery manager
  • Prepare and maintain category performance and overall spends reporting and analytics
  • Monitor Shipping & Storage Performance of Third Party/ vendor and inbound delivery performance
  • Responsible for overseeing purchase variance reports, OTIF, material availability, inventory, warehouse space utilization and supplier performance report
  • Oversee service levels/ performance tracking and handle miscellaneous invoice dispute
  • Manage vendor relationships through tightly defined SLAs and metrics and ensure service delivery
  • Handle R&D on tools and methodologies in alignment with customer plans
  • Ensure timely PO creation and maintain vendor relationship
  • Analyze shipping line invoices against contract rates; demonstrate sound understanding of ocean freight charges.

  • Actively participate in leadership team and develop skills of own team
  • Educate and increase the SSC team awareness of the Group governance and control procedures and processes, ensuring total adherence
  • Utilize TCPL global performance development tools and processes to drive high performance delivery of the team
  • Provide clear definition of roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives for the team
  • Set KPIs for the team

  • Monitor shipping and storage performance of third-party vendors; track inbound and outbound delivery performance.
  • Quickly identify and resolve IDOC-related issues.
  • Manage the movement of goods (tea) to manufacturing plants: obtain freight quotes, evaluate options, prepare documentation, and present final invoices to business teams.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Incoterms.
  • Possess a good understanding of customs clearance processes.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives focused on logistics.

  • Improve operational efficiency by exploring new ways of working through process improvements
  • Innovate ways to automate process by rolling out quality initiatives
  • Adherence to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) agreed with the business in the area of Accuracy, TAT, Productivity and Customer Satisfaction
  • Implement better work practices to achieve high standards of work and maintain established work procedures
  • Provide quality service/ advice in accordance with agreed service standards

  • Ensure proper documentation for Internal controls and requirements
  • Liaise and support in the internal audits
  • Resolve queries from Internal and External Auditors and Quality related audits

  • Communicate assignments, milestones and deadlines to the team and the individuals based on Tower Heads instructions
  • Provide information to the Tower Head on work accomplishments, problems, progress in work processes, individuals and team needs
  • Report Process Dashboards on various performance metrics internally to the Tower Head.
  • Extract SAP reports and analyze of inbound shipments (air, ocean, truck) on monthly basis.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS

Degree/Masters in any tradeX

5-8 years relevant experienceX

2+ years of experience in supervisory roleX

Knowledge of SAP ERP system X

Experience in a SSC/ BPO/ KPO X

Ability to communicate with senior management and team members with easeX

Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)X

Fluency in English (both written and oral)X

Good analytical skillsX

Ability to manage a team effectively and efficientlyX
