Job Description

Role:-

Key Responsibilities:

Lead polymer synthesis and process development projects for CDMO/CMO customers
Design and optimize polymerization process (bulk, solution, emulsion, suspension) at lab scale
Prepare process packages (Tech Pack) for pilot and tech transfer
Maintain compliance with safety protocols, documentation standards, and regulatory guidelines
Drive innovation projects in new polymer materials aligned with Novopors growth strategy

Competencies:

Strong expertise in polymer synthesis, characterization, and modification techniques
Hands-on experience with all polymerization methods (free radical, emulsion, solution, bulk, suspension, melt)
Proficiency in polymer analytics: GPC/SEC, NMR, DSC, TGA, FTIR, Rheology
Understanding of scale-up challenges from lab to pilot plant for polymer projects

Qualification:

Nature of Experience:

8 to 12 years in polymer synthesis with exposure to CDMO/CMO in Specialty Polymers, Electronic Chemicals, Pharma Excipients, or Advanced Materials.
Demonstrated record of developing and scaling new polymeric materials
Strong publication/patent record will be an added advantage
