Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Drive adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance including Shops & Establishment Act, labor laws, and license renewals relevant to logistics operations

Conduct regular site visits to logistics hubs to monitor employee experience, engagement, and discipline on the ground

Partner with the Logistics function to ensure implementation of HR systems, practices, and policies across warehouses and transportation nodes
Track and monitor key cost lines including logistics manpower cost compliance with BP budgets
Monitor deployment of contract workforce and drive initiatives for productivity improvement
Lead employee lifecycle processes (recruitment, onboarding, induction, exit) for logistics manpower
Engage with external vendors for staffing and welfare provisions; ensure timely invoice processing

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years of experience in HR roles within logistics, supply chain, or field-based operations

Understanding of logistics and distribution models in FMCG/Beverage industry

Exposure to HR cost and productivity metrics
• Fluency in spoken and written Hindi, English, and local language
