Team Lead

In this role at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial part in advancing a sustainable energy future by overseeing and managing all aspects of supply chain operations for relevant commodities within indirect services. Your contributions will be significant in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategies to enhance the visibility and perceived value of the supply chain processes and organization. - Leading a team of category managers, managing workloads, and providing clear direction and support to foster a collaborative and productive work environment. - Guiding and mentoring individual team members, facilitating their professional growth and development through regular performance evaluations and constructive feedback. - Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency of supply chain operations. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow of materials and information throughout the supply chain. - Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations and preparing reports for senior management. To excel in this role, you should: - Hold a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. - Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on indirect materials and services. - Possess proven experience in marketing and communication, along with demonstrated leadership skills to manage and develop a high-performing team. - Be proficient in supply chain management software and tools, with strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities. - Be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create engaging content and effectively communicate complex information.
