Team Lead- Fund Accounting

As a Team Leader Fund Accounting, your role involves leading the fund accounting team to maintain accurate financial records for Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, private equity, and debt funds. Your responsibilities include: - Overseeing daily, monthly, and quarterly fund investor allocations. - Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. - Reviewing and approving management and performance fee calculations. - Recording daily expenses, accruals, and interest receivables into accounting books. - Overseeing complex valuation methodologies for illiquid debt instruments including fair value assessments. - Conducting financial analysis on fund performance and valuation accuracy. - Supervising reconciliation of capital flows and fund transactions. - Utilizing financial systems to research and resolve portfolio issues. - Providing leadership, mentoring, and training to team members. - Collaborating with auditors, investors, and other stakeholders. - Driving process improvements and efficiency in fund accounting operations. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred. - 7+ years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in private debt or alternative investments. - Knowledge of Fund Accounting platforms, with Geneva experience preferred. - Proficiency in financial systems and data analytics tools. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail.,
