Technical Leadership

Lead the development of financial products, driving design, architecture, and implementation of core application features.

Provide technical direction across backend (.NET Core, distributed systems) and frontend (React, component libraries) technologies.

Ensure systems are scalable, secure, performant, and compliant with financial standards.

Oversee integrations with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures within the CBO platform.

Apply best practices including SOLID principles, unit testing, and observability.

Reverse engineer and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and extend functionality.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to increase team productivity.

Team Management & Delivery

Manage the day-to-day operations of a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.

Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and coach engineers at different levels (backend, frontend, and full stack) to develop their technical and professional skills.

Drive adoption of modern engineering practices, CI/CD, and cloud-native solutions.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Operations.

Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.

Provide input into the strategic direction of CBO platform development, balancing innovation with delivery needs.

10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.

Strong full-stack expertise:

o Backend: .NET Core / C#, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven patterns.

o Frontend: React, modern UI frameworks, component library design, state management.

Experience in financial systems, back-office automation, or enterprise platforms strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Proven experience with reverse engineering and refactoring legacy applications.

Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot).

Excellent problem-solving, architectural thinking, and communication skills.

Track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams.
