  Minimum 15 years of professional experience in

  irrigation/water resources infrastructure projects,

  including at least 5 years as Team Leader/Resident Engineer/Project Manager .

Position Overview :

The Team Leader will be responsible for the overall coordination, technical direction, and quality oversight of the Third-Party Quality Control/Assurance (TPQC/QA) consultancy under the RWSRPD Project. This role demands leadership in ensuring that construction works conform to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards as per BIS, CPHEEO, and NDB guidelines. The position requires close coordination with PMU, field divisions, contractors, and laboratory teams at Hanumangarh.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise the multidisciplinary team comprising civil, mechanical, and electrical quality engineers and laboratory personnel.
  
• Ensure that all quality assurance and control activities are conducted as per the Terms of Reference and project QA/QC plan.
  
• Oversee field inspections, sampling, and testing of materials (cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, pipelines, valves, etc.) as per IS standards.
  
• Manage the setup and operation of the central laboratory at Hanumangarh and ensure calibration and maintenance of all testing equipment.
  
• Conduct regular review meetings with PMU officials and provide technical inputs for corrective actions and quality improvements.
  
• Facilitate capacity building of field engineers and contractors in QA/QC procedures, mix design, and good construction practices.
