Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics and Power BI Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ide al candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with hands-on experience using Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their data needs and delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives. Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key metrics and performance indicators. Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information. Data Modeling: Create and manage data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency across reports and dashboards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business units to gather requirements, understand their data needs, and translate these into technical solutions. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize Power BI reports for performance and usability. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to utilize Power BI reports and dashboards effectively. Documentation: Document report development processes, data sources, and methodologies for future reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and reporting. Proven experience with Power BI, including report creation, data modeling, and dashboard development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques. Experience with SQL and database management. Familiarity with other analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Excel) and Human Resource processes is a plus. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Skills: Human resource management Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling or machine learning. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
