Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Special Educators to join our full-time team in Panjim. In this role, you will work closely with children with diverse special needs, designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to foster their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the unique needs of special needs children through observations, evaluations, and collaboration with parents, therapists, and other educators.
- Develop and execute customized lesson plans, activities, and interventions tailored to individual learning styles and abilities.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction in areas such as communication, motor skills, behavior management, and academic subjects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure holistic support for each child.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed and maintaining detailed records.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence, self-esteem, and social integration.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular updates, workshops, and feedback sessions to support home-based learning.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute to the centre's innovative programs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements for working with special needs children.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (e.g., B.Ed. in Special Education preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with special needs children in an educational or therapeutic setting.
- Strong knowledge of various disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, ADHD, and developmental delays.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patience, with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
- Proficiency in using educational tools, adaptive technologies, and behavior modification techniques.
- Certification in special education or relevant training (e.g., RCI registration) is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Konkani or Hindi is advantageous.

Location and Schedule:
