Taxonomy & Inferencing Consultant

As a Skills Taxonomy & Inferencing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in owning and managing the skills taxonomy while supporting change governance and continuously improving the taxonomy. Your key responsibilities will include: - Curating and managing data from across the business to maintain a "single version of the truth" for skills data - Consulting and advising PC&C teams and the wider business on developing and utilizing the master skills taxonomy data - Classifying skills and copyediting with reference to the company's writing style guide to maintain a high standard of content in the taxonomy - Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, including migrating skills data to industry standard taxonomies over time - Integrating skills data into core talent processes in collaboration with PC&C process owners - Collaborating with the Talent team and job catalogue data owners to enable the translation of jobs to skills for skills forecasting and skills gap analysis - Developing and delivering a skills data strategy to enhance the management and value derived from skills data - Defining ways to analyze internal skills data utilization over time and identifying skill decline or new skill growth trends with People Insights and Analytics - Assessing the evolution of skills data in external labor markets with Talent Intelligence The job also involves expertise in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation, along with skills in managing change, psychological safety, continuous learning, and legal and regulatory compliance. Technical experience in embedding process change and governance mechanisms, strong data literacy and analysis skills, experience with skills mapping tools and HR technologies, as well as an understanding of machine learning, AI, or data-driven techniques for skills identification are also required.,
