Tax Specialist

As a Tax Specialist (CA Appeared) at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax practice. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR) for various entities such as individuals, firms, LLPs, and companies. - Supporting GST compliance by handling tasks such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual return filings. - Aiding in tax assessments, scrutiny proceedings, and the preparation/review of Tax Audit Reports (Form 3CD). - Assisting in TDS compliance, including filing returns, preparing TDS workings, and reconciliations. - Conducting research on tax issues, circulars, case laws, and assisting in preparing advisory notes. - Coordinating with clients to obtain required documents, data, and clarifications. - Supporting internal and external audit teams as necessary. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Sound knowledge of the Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and Accounting Standards. - Proficiency in software such as Tally, Excel, and tax tools like Winman, Computax, or ClearTax. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines independently. Preferred Background for this position: - CA Inter qualified or CA Final appeared. - Completion of articleship from a reputable CA firm. - Exposure to tax filings, audits, and client interactions during articleship.
