Role Overview

Tax Lead / Manager / SME

What You’ll Own

US Federal, State & Local Taxes

• Prepare & review all U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns
• Manage ASC 740 tax provisions, deferred taxes & FIN 48
• Lead compliance, audits, and technical research with external advisors
• Track regulatory changes & recommend strategies

Sales & Use Tax

• Manage multi-state sales & use tax compliance
• Oversee tax engines (Avalara, Vertex) and system configurations
• Maintain exemption certificates & audit-ready documentation

Strategic Tax Planning

• Lead tax planning initiatives across the business
• Advise business units on tax impacts of transactions & operational changes
• Support M&A due diligence, structuring & integration

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (Master’s in Taxation or CPA preferred)

• 8+ years

  of solid U.S. tax experience (Big 4 or MNC preferred)
• Deep knowledge of U.S. federal income tax, state/franchise tax, and S&U tax
• Hands-on experience with tax software and automation tools
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment

Preferred

• Experience in SaaS or tech companies
• Exposure to international tax
• Process improvement & tax automation familiarity
