Tax Consultant

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Income Tax Assistant to support clients in income tax compliance, including return filing, tax payments, responding to notices, and handling queries from the Income Tax Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of income tax laws, excellent typing skills, and fluency in English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file income tax returns within deadlines.
• Assist clients with income tax payments and reconciliation.
• Review and respond to income tax notices and queries.
• Guide clients on income tax rules, exemptions, and tax-saving strategies.
• Ensure compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and advance tax payments.
• Maintain accurate records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence.
• Support clients during income tax assessments and audits.
• Assist in PAN/TAN registration, modifications, and other tax-related formalities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Good typing skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of income tax laws, deductions, and compliance procedures.
• Experience in income tax return filing and handling notices.
• Experience in using Winman and Tally for accounting and tax-related tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and resolve tax-related issues efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
