Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Income Tax Assistant to support clients in income tax compliance , including return filing, tax payments, responding to notices, and handling queries from the Income Tax Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of income tax laws , excellent typing skills, and fluency in English. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file income tax returns within deadlines. Assist clients with income tax payments and reconciliation. Review and respond to income tax notices and queries . Guide clients on income tax rules, exemptions, and tax-saving strategies . Ensure compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and advance tax payments . Maintain accurate records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence. Support clients during income tax assessments and audits . Assist in PAN/TAN registration, modifications, and other tax-related formalities . Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Good typing skills and proficiency in MS Office. Strong knowledge of income tax laws, deductions, and compliance procedures . Experience in income tax return filing and handling notices . Experience in using Winman and Tally for accounting and tax-related tasks. Attention to detail and ability to analyze and resolve tax-related issues efficiently .
