Job Description

Display a good level of understanding of moderate and advanced tax concepts on partnership and
corporate tax returns, and continuously enhance tax knowledge for associates and advanced
associates through client work and staying up to date with tax developments.
Ensure to have exceptional quality and ensure timely delivery of tasks assigned to their team.
Train and mentor associates and advanced associates.
Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and
apply them appropriately on partnership and corporate tax returns to fulfill client requirements,
update the team with additional research and position taken on the returns.
Enhance teamwork and have the ability to communicate with the teams in India and in the US.
Provide assistance to managers on projects, as requested.
Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Should be able to manage and lead a team and the team s workflow effectively with minimal
assistance.
Ability to travel for work and work on Additional Projects wherever needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in commerce or finance required.
CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) or EA(Enrolled Agent) preferred. If not a CPA (US) or CA (ICAI), must meet educational requirements to obtain the same upon hire in state of employment
Minimum of 4 years of related experience in US Taxation
Previous experience in a public accounting firm preferred
Experience in corporate, partnership and individual taxation
Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service
Experience in servicing multiple client engagements
Creative problem solving and research skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Proven record of being a fast learner and detail oriented
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
