Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior / Lead Talend Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Talend ETL , SQL , and data integration concepts. This role requires a balanced combination of hands-on development and team leadership , making it ideal for someone who can lead by example while contributing as an individual contributor. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. Write optimized SQL queries for data analysis, transformation, and validation. Act as a technical lead , guiding and mentoring a team of developers while managing project deliverables. Perform code reviews , provide best practice recommendations, and ensure adherence to data standards and governance policies. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ETL processes and data pipelines. Ensure high availability and performance of data processes in production. Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows, processes, and architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience in ETL development with at least 6 years hands-on in Talend (Talend Open Studio, Talend Data Integration, or Talend Cloud). Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to handle large volumes of data across relational databases. Proven experience working as a team lead or senior developer , with leadership over junior developers. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deliverables, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Solid understanding of data warehousing, data integration patterns, and performance optimization. Strong communication skills – both written and verbal. Show more Show less
