Talend ETL Developer pune 2 - 5 years INR 4.0 - 9.0 Lacs P.A. Remote Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Talend ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions that support our data integration, migration, and transformation needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Talend (Open Studio or Enterprise) and a solid background in data warehousing, SQL, and performance tuning. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow between systems and to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives. Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems. Analyze data requirements and translate business needs into efficient ETL workflows and mappings. Develop reusable components, frameworks, and templates to streamline ETL development. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure high data quality and integrity. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs for performance and reliability. Work with database administrators and architects to design scalable data models and schemas. Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, process documentation, and best practices. Collaborate with BI, analytics, and application teams to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Ensure ETL processes adhere to company security, compliance, and governance standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience (25+ years) in ETL development using Talend (Data Integration, Big Data, or Cloud). Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or similar). Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices. Familiarity with data integration from various formats (flat files, XML, JSON, APIs, cloud sources). Good understanding of job scheduling, error handling, and logging in ETL pipelines. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and dubugging skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred candidate profile Experience with Talend Cloud, Talend ESB, and Talend Data Quality tools. Familiarity with CI/CD for ETL processes. Experience with REST/SOAP API integration. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell) for automation.
