Systems Engineer, Senior Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network, and directory services. Roles and Responsibility Provide subject matter expertise troubleshooting support for Microsoft Active Directory, Vmware, ADFS, enterprise backup, and other enterprise-class applications. Install, configure, secure, and maintain technical Dev, QA, and Production Systems environments. Configure and integrate third-party applications and add-ons. Support internal development, functional technology, and project teams. Monitor and optimize server health functionality based on industry best practices. Participate in enterprise disaster recovery planning and practices. Achieve system automation and integration through the use of Web Services and scripting technologies and tools. Maintain technical standards, procedures, and techniques for resolving Enterprise IT system problems to ensure maximum application availability and performance. Collaborate with other IT-related professionals such as IT System Administrators, IT technical engineers, IT Developers, IT Architects, and IT Portfolio personnel. Participate in scheduled and unscheduled weekend/after-hours system maintenance and support, including rotational on-call duty. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Minimum 5 years of strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network, and directory services. Experience in administering Directory Services for MS Windows 2008-2016 is preferred. Strong performance tuning experience is preferred. Symantec Endpoint Protection experience is preferred. Kanban knowledge is preferred. Excellent written and oral presentation skills are required. Ability to read and author PowerShell AD scripts is preferred. Administration of System Center Operations Manager is preferred. Administration of System Center Configuration Manager is preferred. Administering non-WinOS such as CentOS or Linux is preferred. MS Certification preferred (MCSA or MCSE). Experience in team collaboration is required. Preferred female candidates. Shift: 7AM to 4PM IST / 11AM to 8PM IST / 2PM to 11PM IST.
