Job Description

As a Systems Analyst II at Mastercard Financial Systems, you will be a key member of the Financial Systems Hyperion Systems Team, responsible for leading solution design, analysis, application development, and operational support for the Hyperion Planning & Essbase application platform. Your role will involve hands-on development skills along with the ability to analyze and understand end user requirements. Collaboration with various business constituents and working as an individual contributor are essential aspects of this position. You will interact daily with the Financial Systems team and collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Human Resources, and other Mastercard groups. Balancing a demanding workload, priorities, and responsibilities such as application development, process improvements, operational support, and management reporting will be crucial in this challenging role. Your success will rely on your demonstrated ability to align system and business strategies, delivering scalable and sustainable application design and development. This position is based in Purchase, NY, with minimal (5%) travel required and possible 24-hour (on-call) availability during critical business periods. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing Hyperion Planning/Essbase applications, providing operational support, managing budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring optimal system performance. You will also be involved in system changes, user provisioning, data integrity maintenance, project management, process improvements, and training business users. Building positive relationships with key business users, understanding financial planning and reporting processes, and integrating technologies and systems are essential aspects of this role. To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant certifications such as Hyperion or Essbase Certification, PMP, Six Sigma being preferred. Required experience includes a positive track record in managing Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications, knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management tools, and hands-on experience in implementing such solutions. Proficiency in Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Calc Scripts/Business Rules, Security Administration, Smart View, Financial Reports, and other related tools is necessary. Additional skills like ODI, Capital Planning are desired. Your professional skills should include excellent verbal and written English communication, maintaining a professional demeanor, developing training materials, being self-motivated and quality-driven, developing relationships across stakeholders, and understanding process improvement. This position may also be located in Pune, India. As part of Mastercard's Corporate Security Responsibility, you will be expected to abide by security policies, maintain confidentiality and integrity of information, report any security violations or breaches, and complete mandatory security trainings.,
