System Failure Analysis Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Failure Analysis Engineer with a strong background in failure diagnostics, lean manufacturing principles, and data-driven root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will lead system-level failure investigations and drive continuous improvement through structured methodologies and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Apply deep understanding of Failure Analysis fundamentals to identify, analyze, and resolve recurring issues in production systems. Conduct and contribute to FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for risk assessment and mitigation planning. Perform Cpk (Process Capability) studies and suggest improvements to enhance process reliability. Utilize structured problem-solving tools such as 4M Analysis to identify root causes. Operate OMM (Optical Measuring Machine) and similar equipment for inspection and analysis. Prepare and present clear and comprehensive technical reports on FA outcomes and trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Production) to implement corrective actions. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians in day-to-day failure analysis operations. Required Skills: Strong knowledge in Failure Analysis , FMEA , and Lean Manufacturing principles Expertise in Cpk and capability studies Proficiency in technical report preparation and presentation Skilled in OMM operations and use of measuring tools Effective team leadership and coordination abilities Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills Good communication skills for technical reviews and customer-facing updates Preferred Candidate Profile: Prior experience in electronics, mobile, or semiconductor manufacturing environment Hands-on involvement in large-scale FA programs and lean process initiatives Ability to lead continuous improvement and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) projects
