We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic System Failure Analysis Lead to oversee teardown, diagnostics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Production Engineering (PE) team. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills to drive failure analysis excellence across functions . Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the System Failure Analysis team , ensuring productivity, skill development, and adherence to best practices. Own and drive project execution , ensuring timely resolution of critical failure issues and process deviations. Oversee asset management , including planning, calibration, tracking, and maintenance of tools and diagnostic equipment. Prepare and deliver high-quality technical presentations and reports (FA, yield, teardown findings, etc.) to internal and customer teams. Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Apply basic understanding of EQ/Testers to guide troubleshooting and ensure robust failure diagnostics. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, and Customer Support to resolve high-impact system issues. Champion a culture of continuous improvement through structured problem-solving (e.g., 4M, 5W1H, RCA). Key Skills & Competencies: Proven team management and leadership skills in an engineering environment Strong project and asset management capabilities Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills Working knowledge of tester/equipment principles (EQ) Deep understanding of Failure Analysis, teardown, and inspection processes Proficiency in Lean methodologies and problem-solving frameworks Preferred Background: 12+ years of experience in electronics, mobile device manufacturing, or semiconductor industry Hands-on experience in teardown analysis, diagnostics, and system-level FA Strong exposure to production environments and multi-disciplinary coordination
