We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic System Failure Analysis Lead to oversee teardown, diagnostics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Production Engineering (PE) team. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, analytical, and project management skills to drive failure analysis excellence across functions . Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the System Failure Analysis team , ensuring productivity, skill development, and adherence to best practices. Own and drive project execution , ensuring timely resolution of critical failure issues and process deviations. Oversee asset management , including planning, calibration, tracking, and maintenance of tools and diagnostic equipment. Prepare and deliver high-quality technical presentations and reports (FA, yield, teardown findings, etc.) to internal and customer teams. Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Apply basic understanding of EQ/Testers to guide troubleshooting and ensure robust failure diagnostics. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, and Customer Support to resolve high-impact system issues. Champion a culture of continuous improvement through structured problem-solving (e.g., 4M, 5W1H, RCA). Key Skills & Competencies: Proven team management and leadership skills in an engineering environment Strong project and asset management capabilities Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills Working knowledge of tester/equipment principles (EQ) Deep understanding of Failure Analysis, teardown, and inspection processes Proficiency in Lean methodologies and problem-solving frameworks Preferred Background: 12+ years of experience in electronics, mobile device manufacturing, or semiconductor industry Hands-on experience in teardown analysis, diagnostics, and system-level FA Strong exposure to production environments and multi-disciplinary coordination

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Failure Analysis Engineer with a strong background in failure diagnostics, lean manufacturing principles, and data-driven root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will lead system-level failure investigations and drive continuous improvement through structured methodologies and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Apply deep understanding of Failure Analysis fundamentals to identify, analyze, and resolve recurring issues in production systems. Conduct and contribute to FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for risk assessment and mitigation planning. Perform Cpk (Process Capability) studies and suggest improvements to enhance process reliability. Utilize structured problem-solving tools such as 4M Analysis to identify root causes. Operate OMM (Optical Measuring Machine) and similar equipment for inspection and analysis. Prepare and present clear and comprehensive technical reports on FA outcomes and trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Production) to implement corrective actions. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians in day-to-day failure analysis operations. The candidate should be analytical, methodical, and capable of identifying root causes of failures to drive quality improvements. Key Responsibilities: Perform Failure Analysis (FA) of mobile phones during backend production processes. Conduct teardown and repair activities to identify physical and functional issues in mobile hardware. Analyze backend process parameters impacting product performance and yield. Prepare detailed Failure Analysis and Yield Reports for internal and customer reviews. Utilize structured problem-solving techniques like 4M Analysis and 5W1H to identify root causes. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Engineering) for process improvement. Operate tools such as OMM (Optical Measuring Machine) , VHX (Digital Microscope) , and other measuring instruments. Apply logical thinking and structured diagnostics to detect anomalies in system behavior and design.
