System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain network configurations, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Troubleshoot network-related issues such as IP conflicts, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity problems
• Assist in the administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user accounts
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely resolution of IT issues and proper communication
• Assist in deploying and maintaining security measures (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, etc)
• Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and IT services, including remote users
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps
• Follow up on issues reported escalate as necessary
• Support the configuration and deployment of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and security systems
• Manage incident reports and ensure timely resolution within SLAs
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects, upgrades, and rollouts
  

What do we look for in you?

• 3-4 years of experience in system administration or network administration role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with firewall administration, preferably Palo Alto firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as CCNA , MCSE , RHCE or equivalent are a plus.
